Modern Music

"It seems everyone these days is attracted towards simplicity. This sentiment is certainly present in our modern music industry: All songs seem to be in 4/4 and the lyrics sound like they've been written by a 3rd grader with Downs syndrome. (And no, T-Pain, "mansion" does not rhyme with "Wisconsin")
I'll admit that I'm generalizing, and some pop songs show signs of actual musicianship. However, it is safe to say that most songs on KIIS FM are like the ones described above. I don't like the path our modern music is heading. Where are we going to draw the line with things such as auto-tune? Nowadays, it's possible to be a platinum artist without any real musical ability or prowess."-ryan

What makes your day hardest?

Mine is my lack of sleep. The strange part is that it only affects me when i need it most. For example, In my first period of today i could barely keep my eyes open. The fight to stay awake was unbearable. People suggest, "why not get more sleep"? That's the tough part. For me to get more sleep, I would have to go to bed earlier, and for me to go to bed earlier would mean that i wouldn't be able to finish my homework. It has become quite challenge. I have been told that in high school you can have good grades, good social life, and a good amount of sleep, but you can only pick two of the three. Should i give up a good social life or good grades to not feel so drowsy?
